Project Alpha

This collaborative event with the Office of Public Health in Region 8 & the STD/HIV/HEP Program(SHHP) stems from the rising HIV and syphilis rates in Northeast Louisiana. The event featured health education, HIV & STI testing and other relevant resources.

Go To High School, Go To College

This partnership with Frito Lay and the Genesis and Light Center in Jackson, MS comes from one of our chapter brothers, Bro. Jerrick Baines, interning this past summer. Using the resources available, Bro. Baines organized a school supply drive, and created vision boards with local kids.

Brother's Keeper

This innovative event with the GSU Police Department & the Epsilon Kappa Lambda Chapter comes from the recent concealed carry legislation passed in Louisiana. The event featured guest speakers of GSU Police Chief, Rodney Dembry, and Epsilon Kappa Lambda's Vice President, Bro. John Thomas.

A Voteless People is a Hopeless People

This major collaborative event features campus departments, NAACP, and the Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. This event provided a safe space for students to watch the election live, as well as have crucial conversations as it concerned the election.
